STONE SOUR ha publicado en su página web las próximas fechas de su gira, que incluyen algún festival en EEUU, tres fechas en Japón, su presencia en el Soundwave australiano y una extensa gira por Europa en Noviembre y Diciembre. Por desgracia, no hay fechas españolas anunciadas.

Hace días el grupo desveló un doble adelanto de  'House of Gold & Bones – Part 1', la primera parte de su disco doble y que saldrá a la venta el 23 de Octubre a través de Roadrunner Records.

En relación al doble trabajo, Corey Taylor comentó que "… es una mezcla de 'The Wall' de PINK FLOYD con 'Dirt' de ALICE IN CHAINS, con algunas partes muy cañeras. La canción más heavy suena como si SLAYER y ANTHRAX hubieran tenido un niño. También hay una canción más oscura tirando al blues con una atmósfera a lo 'In My Time of Dying' de LED ZEPPELIN. Incluso hay algo de industrial también. Va a volar la cabeza de la gente".
