El bajista ha decidido dejar Steel Panther después de muchos años siendo una de los rostros de la paródica formación.

El motivo que han indicado por parte de Steel Panther en redes sociales no deja de ser llamativo. Han querido señalar que el bajista durante el confinamiento ha tenido que seguir ganando dinero para el botox que tenía que inyectarse y que para eso ahora se dedica a «hacer que perros feos estén más guapos».

A través de un vídeo con música emotiva conformado por fotos de su trayectoria con la banda, la despedida de Steel Panther a Lexxi Foxx se ha llevado a cabo con el siguiente comunicado en redes sociales en el que se señala su nueva pasión canina y también, como datos más importantes, que el grupo seguirá adelante y que será imposible encontrar un bajista como Lexxi, a quien le desean lo mejor en su nueva etapa, que llega bajo el nombre «Sexy Lexxi’s Prettiest Pets».

The End of an Era

The great pandemic of 2020-2037 has affected all of us. For some though, it has opened doors of opportunity and been a catalyst to seek out one’s true calling in life. This is Lexxi’s story. He started his side business, “Sexy Lexxi’s Prettiest Pets,” to bring in money for Botox during the lockdown. But something miraculous happened. He realized that his love for making pets pretty was greater than his love for being pretty himself. Lexxi discovered a greater love. Possibly, the greatest love of all.

Lexxi has chosen to hang up his mirror and focus on his newfound passion. Making ugly dogs pretty. Anyway, after nearly 40 years of rocking together and taking Steel Panther from the Viper Room to headlining Wembley Arena, it is with heavy hearts – but great heavy metal memories – that we bid Lexxi Foxx farewell. We love you and we wish you a wonderful future putting eyeliner on chihuahuas.

Steel Panther will continue to rock the world. And though we may not ever find a bassist quite as beautiful as Lexxi, it shouldn’t be hard to find one to match his towering intellect.

A pesar de esto, en las últimas fechas Steel Panther ya está confirmando fechas para festivales de 2022, por lo que la maquinaria de la formación no para. Habrá que ver si pronto anuncian a la persona que sustituya a Lexxi y las próximas novedades de la banda.
